Men's Volleyball: IU East 3, Park-Gilbert 0

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's volleyball team started the season with a 25-14, 25-18, 25-19 victory over Park University-Gilbert on Sunday, Feb. 1.

With the win on Lingle Court, the Red Wolves are 1-0 as the Buccaneers fall to 3-4.

Wyatt King topped the Red Wolves with 15 kills, while Arthur Barreto finished with 12. Vinicius Lopes finished with 11 kills. Barreto and Lopes both had three service aces.

Brayden Richardson paced the offense for IU East with 35 assists. Olwin Corrales contributed 10 assists.

Defensively, Francis Rivera Agosto led the Red Wolves with 10 digs.

The Red Wolves return to action at home against Calumet College of St. Joseph on Wednesday, Feb. 4. The contest gets underway at 6 p.m.

IU East defeated the Crimson Wave last season 25-19, 25-23, 25-20.
