Men's Volleyball: Governors State 3, IU East 0
UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill. - The Indiana University East men's volleyball team had its three-match winning streak snapped as the Red Wolves 25-16, 25-20, 25-16 at Governors State University on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
IU East is now 3-1 overall with a 1-0 mark in the River States Conference.
A member of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, Governors State is 4-7 heading into league play later this week.
Arthur Barreto led IU East with 10 kills in GSU's Athletics and Recreation Center.
Vinicius Lopes added nine kills for the Red Wolves, while Jael De La Cruz finished with five kills and two blocks.
Brayden Richardson led the Red Wolves with 22 assists and eight digs to go with a pair of blocks.
Next up for IU East is a conference contest at Campbellsville University on Friday, Feb. 20. The match in Kentucky gets underway at 6 p.m.
