PIPPA PASSES, Ky. - The Indiana University East women's basketball team dropped a 90-53 decision at Alice Lloyd College on Saturday, Jan. 13.
IU East is now 8-8 overall and 3-3 in the River States Conference, while Alice Lloyd is 9-7 and 4-3.
Taylor Farris led the Red Wolves with 16 points.
Kennedy Griffin tossed in 12 points as Davina Smith finished with 10.
The Red Wolves had a 5-4 lead after a 3-pointer by Farris at the 7:05 mark of the opening period.
However, Alice Lloyd had a 24-19 edge by the end of the first quarter on the way to a 51-31 advantage at halftime.
Next up for IU East is another road trip as the Red Wolves visit Shawnee State University on Tuesday, Jan. 16. The conference contest begins at 5:30 p.m.
