Women's Basketball: St. Francis 65, IU East 38

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's basketball team dropped a 65-38 decision to the University of St. Francis (Ind.) on Wednesday, Nov. 15.

The Red Wolves are 2-4, while St. Francis is now 6-1 as the Cougars have won three in a row.

Kennedy Griffin was honored prior to the contest on Lingle Court for joining the 1,000-point club in her career.

Griffin scored six points against the Cougars to raise career total at IU East to 1,029.

Tia Tolbert also had six points on Wednesday night.

Next up for IU East is the River States Conference opener for the Red Wolves as they host IU Kokomo on Tuesday, Nov. 28. The game starts at 5:30 p.m.
