OAKLAND CITY, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's basketball team dropped a 95-76 decision at Oakland City University on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
IU East is now 4-6 with a 1-2 mark in the River States Conference, while Oakland City is 6-4 and 3-0.
Taylor Farris led the Red Wolves with 25 points, while three others were in double figures at the Johnson Center.
Caitin McEldowney finished with 11 points as Davina Smith and Kennedy Griffin each tossed in 10. Tia Tolbert topped IU East with eight rebounds.
Oakland City grabbed an early 30-14 lead at the first stop as the Mighty Oaks were able to maintain their advantage the rest of the way.
The Red Wolves return home for their next contest against Brescia University on Saturday, Dec. 16. The RSC affair gets under way on Lingle Court at 1 p.m.
