DEARBORN, Mich. – The IU East women's basketball team forced 23 turnovers and Taylor Farris had her second-consecutive 30-point game as the Red Wolves defeated Michigan-Dearborn 91-55 Wednesday.
Farris scored 36 points as she went 15-of-22 from the field. Davina Smith scored eight points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Tia Tolbert led the team with 13 rebounds.
Michigan-Dearborn scored the first points of the game, but it was the only time the Red Wolves would trail in the game. Farris scored the first points for the Red Wolves. Smith scored to give IU East the 4-2 lead, which the Red Wolves would lead the rest of the way.
IU East went into the halftime break up 39-23.
The Red Wolves will be back on the court as they travel to Oakland City on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
