RICHMOND, Ind. – Davina Smith scored 17 points with 11 rebounds to give the Red Wolves a 77-61 win over WVU Tech.
With the win, the Red Wolves improved to 8-7 overall and 3-2 in RSC play.
Taylor Farris scored 14 points off the bench and had six assists. Kennedy Griffin scored 11 points and grabbed four rebounds.
The Red Wolves used a big second quarter to separate themselves from the Golden Bears. They outscored WVU Tech 22-9 in the second quarter and cruised into halftime leading 41-19.
IU East shot 43.5 percent from the field and led the rebounding battle 43-31.
The Red Wolves will travel to Alice Lloyd on Saturday.
