Women's Basketball: Red Wolves Hosting Reunion
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's basketball team is inviting all former players to celebrate their time with the program by attending the Red Wolves game on Saturday, Jan. 17.
IU East entertains IU Kokomo on Lingle Court as part of a River States Conference doubleheader that day with the women's contest getting underway at 1 p.m. The men start at 3 p.m.
The IU East athletic department asks that former Red Wolves please contact the office if they plan to attend at joegrif@iu.edu. Players can also sign in at the ticket table prior to the game, so they can be recognized at halftime of the women's contest.
The Red Wolves began playing in the NAIA during the 2014-15 season. IU East has qualified for the national tournament four times with the most recent trip coming in 2021-22.
This season, Taylor Farris became the sixth member of the 1,000-point club. She currently has 1,203 points in her career.
The other members of IU East's 1,000-point club are Tia King (2014-2018) 2,566 points, Addie Brown (2018-2023) 2,000, Kristen Miller (2014-2018) 1,694, Mackenzie Campbell (2014-2018) 1,520 and Kennedy Griffin (2020-2024) 1,288.
