Women's Basketball: Former Red Wolves Enjoy Reunion

RICHMOND, Ind. - Smiles and memories were the order of the day as former Indiana University East women's basketball players watched the current Red Wolves beat IU Kokomo 81-55 on Saturday, Jan. 17.

The gathering of the alumni and their families had IU East Athletic Director Joe Griffin smiling as everyone reminisced about their time as Red Wolves.

"It was great to see the alumni, some we haven’t seen in a while," Griffin said. "It was really great to see the families. Future Red Wolves is how I see it."

"I hope that they always feel a part of the program because they have had a big part of growing it with all of the successes that they accomplished," Griffin continued. "We are hoping that this will be a yearly event and we can keep growing it, so the alumni can reconnect."
