Women's Basketball: Kentucky Christian at IU East Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - After a pair of road games, the Indiana University East women's basketball team is back at home as the Red Wolves entertain Kentucky Christian University on Thursday, Jan. 29.

The River States Conference matchup on Lingle Court gets underway at 6 p.m.

IU East is 8-11 overall and 4-4 in the league as the Red Wolves dropped a 69-59 decision at Brescia University on Friday, Jan. 23.

Kentucky Christian is 6-13 and 2-6 after the Knights won 83-70 at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College last weekend.

* IU East won 88-74 in the earlier contest this season at Kentucky Christian on Dec. 13.

* Peyton Wells had 29 points and 11 rebounds for the Red Wolves against the Knights with Taylor Farris also finishing with 29 points in the win.

* Also in the earlier affair with IU East, Bell Sparks led the Knights with 19 points as Mikyra Caudill tossed in 13 points with seven rebounds.

* Wells had 15 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead IU East versus Brescia.

* At SMWC, Caudill led the Knights with 24 points and nine assists as she also added eight rebounds.
