Women's Basketball: IU East at SMWC Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's basketball team visits St. Mary-of-the-Woods on Saturday, Feb. 7.

The opener of a River States Conference doubleheader in Hamilton Arena starts at 1 p.m.

IU East is now 10-12 overall and 6-5 in the RSC after an 89-67 loss at Midway University on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

The Pomeroys are 0-22 and 0-11. SMWC lost 66-34 to IU Southeast at home earlier this week.

* Current RSC Offensive Player of the Week, Taylor Farris had 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists for IU East against Midway.

* Also versus Midway, Maggie Anderson had 14 points for the Red Wolves as Abbie Lucas finished 13 points.

* Abigail Parker and Taryssa Moody both had nine points in the IU Southeast contest.
