Women's Golf: IU East Spring Invitational Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's golf team will be staying at home this weekend for a two-day affair at the Forest Hills Country Club on April-14-15.

The Red Wolves welcome five squads for the 36-hole IU East Spring Invitational that gets underway both days with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. 

River States Conference foes IU Kokomo, Brescia University, Oakland City University, and the University of Rio Grande along with Fisk University of Tennessee will be competing.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* The Red Wolves won the 2022 IU East Spring Invitational with a team score of 665.

* IU East had three players on the all-tournament team last year with Brooklynn Cromwell the only returnee from that group. She was sixth with a team-best final round of 79.

* Brandi Jones of IU Kokomo was the medalist last spring with a two-day score of 159.

* Annie Gillock led IU East with an 81 as the Red Wolves defeated Earlham 346-449 at the Elks Country Club in Richmond on April 7.
