Women's Golf: Forest Hills Invitational Day 2 Recap
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's golf team finished the two-day Forest Hills Fall Invitational in third place on Sunday, Sept. 17.
Mount St. Joseph University (342-344-686) won the event followed by Spalding University (355-332-687), IU East (344-350-694), IU East B (377-378-755) and Anderson University (397-379-776).
Brooklynn Cromwell (87-84-171, 6th) led the Red Wolves followed by Lainey Jackson (86-89-175, 9th), Katie Craig (92-85-177, 10th), Sophia Curry (86-92-178, 11th) and Liv Sanders (85-98-183, 14th).
Jalyn Bruns topped the IU East second squad (86-87-173, 8th). Next was Josalyn Lewis (93-91-184, 15th), Baylee Wissler (97-97-194, 22nd), Gracie Williams (101-105-206, 27th) and Ashlynne Osborne (105-103-208, 28th).
The Red Wolves return to action in the River States Conference Fall Preview at the Glade Springs Resort in West Virginia on Sept. 25-26.
"The golf course really took its toll on us," IU East coach Billy Mullin said. "We've got to regroup from this weekend and get ready to compete at the RSC Fall Preview next week."
