Women's Golf: IU East leads IUK Shootout

KOKOMO, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's golf team has three players in the top 10 after the opening round as the Red Wolves are on top at the IU Kokomo Spring Shootout on Saturday, April 12.

Liv Sanders is second on the individual leaderboard as she posted at 78 at the Wildcat Creek Golf Course.

Jalyn Bruns and Sophia Curry are tied for fourth with an 80. Tied for 15th, Lainey Jackson shot an 85. Katie Craig's 89 has her tied for 26th.

Ashlynne Osborne is tied for 38th with a 96.

"Liv, Jalyn and Sophia all played really solid golf, IU East coach Billy Mullin said. "I'm pleased with how we played. We're going to need to make a few more putts to close this out."

As a team, the Red Wolves have a score of 323. Bluffton University is second in the nine-team event with 326.
