IU East Women's Golf Adds Adams to 2026-27 Class
RICHMOND, Ind. – The IU East women's golf team has added Addyson Adams as its first member of the 2026-27 recruiting class.
"I'm really excited that Addyson chose to be a Red Wolf," head coach Billy Mullin said. "She comes from a highly successful high school golf program."
The Van Buren, Ohio native, was a two-time sectional medalist in her junior and senior year at Van Buren High School. During her senior year, she broke the 18-hole school record shooting a 73. She also earned 1st-Team All-Ohio honors in her senior year. In her sophomore season, she made 1st-Team All-District and was a State qualifier.
"Overall, I felt like IU East was a good fit," Adams said. "IU East has a good golf program as well as a good Criminal Justice program. I felt as if there is a lot of good opportunities in academics and golf at IU East."
Adams will look to help contribute to the recent success the IU East women's golf team has accomplished winning the RSC Tournament three of the last four years.
"Addyson is no stranger to individual success either. She was All-State Ohio last fall and has posted impressive scores on tough courses in northern Ohio. She is a solid player through the bag and putts the ball really well."
