Five Red Wolves Earn RSC Honors
RICHMOND, Ind. – Five members of the IU East women's soccer team earned all-conference honors.
Kylie O'Leary and Grace Harris earned first-team honors, Ava Wittrock and Zaryah Griffin were named to the second-team, and Morgan Grudich was named to the third-team.
O'Leary was second in the conference in goals allowed in conference games. She allowed just .67 goals per game in the nine games. Helping O'Leary on the defensive side were Grace Harris and Zaryah Griffin, and Ava Wittrock. Harris started every game this season and added a goal and an assist. Griffin started every game this season as a freshman and also added three goals and an assist. Ava started all 14 games she played in. She tallied two goals and two assists.
In the midfield, Morgan Grudich also started every game this season. She was also able to make a mark scoring two goals on the season.
The Red Wolves scored 16 goals this season and Harris, Griffin, Wittrock, and Grudich accounted for half.
IU East finished third in the River States Conference standings and will host Shawnee State in the RSC Quarterfinals on Wednesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Centerville High School.
