Women's Soccer: IU East 3, Earlham 0
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's soccer team won its second straight match with a 3-0 victory at Earlham College on Saturday, Sept. 13.
IU East evened its record at 3-3-1 with the victory in Matlack-Messer Soccer Stadium, while Earlham is now 1-5.
Asia Espiritu scored two goals for IU East with Ashley Haupt assisting on the first one at 11:14.
In the second half, Espiritu found the net at 67:31 as Vanessa Temple helped on the play.
Maya Diceanu capped the scoring with a successful penalty kick at 84:00.
Goalkeeper Elizabeth Sarfo-Benson recorded three saves for the Red Wolves.
The Red Wolves are back in action against Lawrence Tech University at Centerville High School on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The contest gets underway at 4 p.m.
