Women's Soccer: Lawrence Tech at IU East Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's soccer team is looking for a third straight victory as the Red Wolves welcome Lawrence Tech University to Centerville High School on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

The opener of a doubleheader with the IU East men's squad, the non-conference match begins at 4 p.m.

IU East is 3-3-1 after a 3-0 win at Earlham College last weekend.

Lawrence Tech is 1-2-1 as the Blue Devils are coming off a 1-0 loss at Bethel University on Saturday, Sept. 13.

The GPS address for Centerville High School is 507 Willow Grove Road in Centerville, Ind. The soccer field is in the southwest portion of the CHS campus, adjacent to the tennis courts and baseball field.

* This is the first match between to the two schools since 2021.

* The all-time series is tied at 1-1. IU East won 2-0 in 2019 at Centerville, while Lawrence Tech picked up a 2-1 decision in 2021 in Michigan.

* Asia Espiritu scored two goals for IU East in the victory over Earlham as Maya Diceanu added the final score on a penalty kick.
