Women's Soccer: Weekend Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's soccer team travels to WVU Tech and the University of Rio Grande for River States Conference matches this weekend.

IU East takes on WVU Tech in the Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex on Thursday, Oct. 23. The affair begins at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, Oct. 25, the Red Wolves visit Rio Grande as the contest on the Evan Davis Soccer Field begins at 3:30 p.m.

Winners of five straight, IU East is 8-4-2 overall and 5-1 in the conference after a 6-0 victory at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Saturday, Oct. 18.

WVU Tech is 7-4-3 and 4-2-1. The Golden Bears have dropped two in a row, including a 1-0 decision at IU Kokomo last weekend.

Rio Grande 6-3-5 and 4-1-1 heading into Thursday's match at Shawnee State University.

WVU Tech plays its home matches at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex, which has a GPS address of 243 Wilkes Parkway in Beckley, W.Va.
