Women's Soccer: WVU Tech 1, IU East 0

BECKLEY, W. Va. - The Indiana University East women's soccer team gave up a goal in the second half in a 1-0 decision at WVU Tech on Thursday, Oct. 23.

After a scoreless first half, WVU Tech picked up its goal at 53:00 in the Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex to snap IU East's five-match winning streak.

IU East is now 8-5-2 overall and 5-2 in the River States Conference, while WVU Tech is 8-4-3 and 5-2-1.

Goalkeeper Elizabeth Sarfo-Benson had eight saves for the Red Wolves.

The Red Wolves are back in action at the University of Rio Grande on Saturday, Oct. 25. The RSC match at the Evan Davis Soccer Field is at 3:30 p.m.
