Women's Soccer: IU East at Oakland City RSC Preview
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's soccer team heads to Evansville to take on Oakland City University in a semifinal match of River States Conference Championships on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The affair in Goebel Soccer Complex is at 4 p.m. Central Time/5 p.m. Eastern Time.
IU East is the No. 4 seed as the Red Wolves are 11-5-3 coming off a 1-0 victory over the University of Rio Grande at Eaton High School earlier this week.
Top seed and RSC regular season champion Oakland City is 13-2-2 as the Mighty Oaks earned a bye to the semifinals.

* IU East is looking for its fifth appearance in the RSC championship match. The Red Wolves won the title in 2019 and during the 2020-21 season. IU East was the runner-up in 2018 and 2024.
* Maya Diceanu scored for IU East in the win over Rio Grande in the quarterfinal round.
* Earlier this season, Oakland City defeated IU East 4-0 in Evansville with two goals in each half.
* The Red Wolves had six players on the all-conference list that was announced this week. Ava Wittrock was on the All-RSC First Team, while Diceanu Vanessa Temple, Zaryah Griffin and Asia Espiritu were All-RSC Second Team with Elizabeth Sarfo-Benson on the All-RSC Third Team.
* Temple was IU East's RSC Champion of Character.
