Indoor Track & Field: Oiler Open Day One Recap
FINDLAY, Ohio - The Indiana University East track and field teams started the indoor season in the Oiler Open at the University of Findlay on Thursday, Nov. 30.
The Red Wolves had three competitors in the multi events during the opening day of the event at the Malcolm Athletic Center.
Vanessa Temple finished 13th in the Women's Pentathlon, while and Mariah Kruesch was 16th.
Temple's top placement was seventh in the 800 meters. Kruesch best effort was sixth in the shot put.
Connor Nease is also 16th in the Men's Heptathlon, which has the 60-meter hurdles, pole vault and 1,000-meter run remaining. Nease was 10th in the 60-meter dash.
Friday's action in the two-day meet gets underway with the Men's Heptathlon at 10 a.m. The field events are at 2 p.m., while the activity on the track begins at 5 p.m.
