KOKOMO, Ind. – The IU East women’s volleyball team clinched their ticket to the NAIA National Championships on Friday after beating Oakland City in the RSC semifinals, prior to Saturday’s showdown with No. 1 seed IU Kokomo.
The Red Wolves won the first set of the RSC Championship against the Cougars but fell in the next three, falling short of the RSC title, 15-25, 25-20, 25-11, 25-14.
Jessica Swimm led the Red Wolves with 19 kills with seven digs. Brooke Lepper was also in double figures with 11 kills, along with 10 kills from Teah Barrett Matthews.
