Swimm, Shirley Named AVCA All-Americans
RICHMOND, Ind. – Jessica Swimm and Reece Shirley earned even more recognition for their stellar seasons.
Swimm earned AVCA First Team All-American to go along with her NAIA First Team nod. Swimm ranked fifth in the nation with 4.44 kills per set. She also ranked 13th in the nation with 502 kills.
Shirley was named an honorable mention All-American by the AVCA. Shirley also claimed RSC Setter of the Year while finishing the regular season with 1,250 assists, good for tenth in the nation. Her assists per set was 11.16, ranking sixth in the nation. She was the leader in assists in the conference by 290.
The Red Wolves finished the year with a 27-9 record after losing in the opening round of the NAIA Tournament against Bellevue (Neb.).
