Men's Basketball: IU East at UHSP

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's basketball team opens the 2022-23 season with a trip to Missouri on Saturday, Nov. 5.

The Red Wolves face the University of Health Science and Pharmacy in St. Louis at 4 p.m. (IU East time).

IU East was 16-15 last season with a 10-7 record in the River States Conference.

UHSP started this season with an 83-65 loss at home against Oakland City University on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

FOLLOW THE GAME

The UHSP gymnasium is in the Recreation and Student Center on campus, located at 1 Pharmacy Place, St. Louis, MO 63110.

Spectators for basketball games may use the UHSP garage for complimentary parking at 4531 Children's Place, St. Louis, MO 63110.

Live video and live stats also are scheduled to be available.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* The Red Wolves were picked to finish fourth in the RSC Preseason Poll.

* Jamisen Smith (10.3 PPG), Bryce Long (7.4 PPG) and Colt Meyer (5.0 PPG) are the top scorers back from last season.

* IU East leads the all-time series 6-0 with UHSP, but the two teams have not meet since the 2013-14 season.

* The Eutectics were 11-17 in 2021-22 with a 7-9 mark in the American Midwest Conference.

* Mason Ballat led UHSP with 17 points in the loss to Oakland City, while Dwight Newsome added 10 points.
