Men's Volleyball: Midway at IU East Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - After three road matches, the Indiana University East men's volleyball team returns to Lingle Court as the Red Wolves entertain Midway University on Tuesday, Feb. 24.

The River States Conference contest begins at 6 p.m.

IU East is 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the league. The Red Wolves are coming off a 25-21, 25-19, 25-18 loss at No. 5 Campbellsville last weekend.

Midway is 2-11 and 0-2. The Eagles had dropped 11 in a row before winning their first two matches of the season over Franklin College and Maranatha Baptist University from Wisconsin on Saturday, Feb. 21.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* IU East and Midway met earlier this season with the Red Wolves winning 25-22, 25-27, 25-18 in Kentucky on Thursday, Feb. 5.

* This is the first of seven straight home matches for the Red Wolves. The next road contest for IU East is at Oakland City University on Friday, March 20.

* In the win over Midway, Wyatt King led IU East with 11 kills and five blocks, while Brayden Richardson had 18 assists as Francis Rivera Agosto finished with eight digs.

* Against Campbellsville, King topped the Red Wolves with 12 kills as Richardson recorded 24 assists.
