RICHMOND, Ind. – Five seniors of the IU East women's basketball team were honored before the RSC tilt against IU Southeast.
The Grenadiers played spoilers Tuesday night as they defeated the Red Wolves 77-66 in the final home game of the season.
All five seniors started the game and all scored. Kenzie Hudgen led the seniors with 11 points. The Red Wolves used more of a balanced attack as four were in double figures.
But IU East was held to just 38 percent from the floor and only made 4 of 20 3-pointers. The Grenadiers shot at a 52 percent clip and went 9-of-18 from beyond the arc.
The Red Wolves will travel on Saturday to Midway.
