Volleyball: Weekend Preview
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East volleyball team is on the road for the second straight weekend as the Red Wolves face a pair of River States Conference foes.
The Red Wolves open the weekend at Midway University on Friday, Sept. 29. The contest in Marshall Gymnasium gets underway at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, IU East stops at Alice Lloyd College with that match in the Perry Campus Center beginning at 12 p.m.
IU East is 11-6 overall and 4-1 in the conference. The Red Wolves have won two in a row after a 25-15, 25-17, 25-18 victory at WVU Tech last Saturday.
Midway is 5-6 and 1-4 in the RSC. The Eagles lost to St. Mary-of-the-Woods 19-25, 25-23, 25-12, 25-15 on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
Alice Lloyd is 2-13 and 0-5 in the league after a 25-11, 25-16, 25-17 loss to Ohio Christian University earlier this week.

* IU East's Ella Bickel was recently named the RSC Defender of the Week for the second time this season. She had 19 digs against WVU Tech.
* Brooke Lepper led the Red Wolves with 10 kills and three blocks at WVU Tech, while Reece Shirley had 25 assists.
* Friday's match with Midway is the only contest during the regular season against the Eagles, while the Red Wolves will entertain Alice Lloyd on Friday, Oct. 20.
* Both teams will play a match the day before facing the Red Wolves. Midway visits Georgetown College on Thursday, Sept. 28. Alice Lloyd hosts IU Southeast on Friday, Sept. 29.
