RICHMOND, Ind. – A trio of Red Wolves had five kills apiece and Ella Bickel added 25 digs but the IU East women's volleyball team fell to IU Southeast 3-0 on Saturday (25-15, 25-15, 25-23).
Alayna Barrett, Elizabeth Anglin, and Payton Schultheis led the team in kills with five. Aislyn Hogan had 17 assists and two kills to go along with nine digs.
With the loss, the Red Wolves fall to 11-16 on the season and 4-5 in River States Conference play. The Grenadiers improve to 13-4 and 6-3 respectively.
The Red Wolves were held in check for most of the game. They finished with a .090 hitting percentage with 16 errors. IU Southeast had a pair of attackers with double-digit kills.
IU East will look to rebound as they travel to Oakland City on Friday Oct. 17 before heading to Brescia on Saturday Oct. 18.
