Women's Volleyball Signs Payton Schultheis

RICHMOND, Ind. – Kim McConaha and the IU East women's volleyball team announced the signing of Payton Schultheis on Thursday.

Payton comes from Elkhart High School where she earned in her career NIC All-Conference Honorable Mention, NIC 2^nd Team All Conference, NIC All-Academic, and Academic All-State.

"I chose IU East because I loved the culture of the team and I loved what they had to offer academically," Schultheis said.

In her senior year, Payton collected 244 kills, 255 digs, and 24 aces. Her favorite memory was getting a black eye from her own teammate during a game. Payton plans on studying Psychology.
